providing a quality, and continually improving facility and service.

Customer Charter
We Promise that:
- The time and
availability of services will be as published in our timetable
(barring circumstances out of our control, where the pool may have to
be closed)
- Any foreseen
changes will be duly notified to our customers by the display of an
appropriate notice within the centre, information centres, and local
publications.
- Any foreseen
changes (emergency) interruption to services which have been booked
will result in refunds and or an offer of alternative services where
possible
The Swimming Pool will be:
- Maintained at
a minimum of 28 degrees, and a maximum of 32 degrees
- Balanced
chemically and tested regularly (minimum 3 times per day), to ensure
customer comfort and safety. We remain committed to educating all
users in the importance of personal hygiene, and ensuring users
shower before entering the water, reducing the need for high
chemical input
- Supervised by
the recommended number of qualified and trained staff
- Keep in a
clean, safe and hygienic condition
- Furnished with
equipment which is in good working order and checked and maintained
regularly

The Staff will be:
- Trained and
appropriately qualified
- Easily
identifiable by wearing a uniform at all times
- Helpful,
experienced, and informative to ensure that your visit is safe and
enjoyable
Ancillary areas, including the changing
rooms, showers and toilets will be:
- Clean,
hygienic and in good working order
- Checked by
staff when possible, and remedial action taken where necessary
- Maintained at
a temperature which is comfortable and complimentary to other areas
In general, we will:
- Ensure the
facility is clean, safe and well maintained
- Listen and be
responsive to comments, complaints and suggestions
- Maintain a
balanced programme of activities and services which cater for the
needs of all the community
- Publish up to
date and accurate customer information for all activities
- Have clear
technical standards for all important features of the service and
meet them
- Set prices to
ensure value for money
- Evaluate
customer feedback, and ensure we continue to meet their stated
priorities.

comments on our services are welcome. They can be directed either
verbally, or in writing in the first instance, to the Manager. If this
is inappropriate, or if you are not satisfied with the outcome or the
action taken, a complaint may be made to the Chair person of the
Swimming Pool Committee at the address shown above
