Current Status: Not Available Pilates for the water
An exercise workout based upon the same modern principles and anatomical guidelines as Pilates. Many of the exercises are similar to those practised in Pilates but have been developed specifically for the aquatic environment.
It is an excellent choice for older people as well as anyone with arthritis, oeteoporosis, Parkinson's Disease or lower back problems. The pool environment makes it a low-impact exercise ideal for people with joint problems. It is also very good for stretching and strengthening and carries a very low risk of injury.
Available on Thursday mornings at 11.30am. Each session runs for 45mins and exercises should be followed at your own pace.
